What were you really looking for in a putter?
Over the years, I’ve cycled through more putters than I care to admit. Some felt great for a few rounds, some didn’t last a week, but none of them gave me the kind of confidence I was after. I wasn’t chasing some miracle fix, I just wanted something reliable. A putter I didn’t have to think twice about. One that would take aim and feel out of the equation, so I could focus on the stroke.
How did the fitting compare to others you’ve had?
I’ve done a fair number of fittings in my time, drivers, irons, the usual. They’ve all been useful in their own way, but this was something else entirely. The Fine-Tuned process felt personal and precise. Every adjustment had a reason and you could feel the difference with each one. We weren’t guessing or settling. It was about figuring out exactly what suited me and it was the most valuable fitting I’ve ever had.
What’s changed since putting it in play?
The consistency off the face is what really stands out. The ball comes off clean and it rolls the same every time. Sure, I’ll still misread a break now and then, but that’s on me, not the putter. I hardly ever miss my line anymore. That’s a big shift and it’s made putting feel a whole lot more dependable. I’m not adjusting or compensating mid-stroke like I used to.
What was the experience like after the fitting?
When I decided I wanted a backup, I figured I’d be dealing with a bit of back-and-forth, maybe a delay. Instead, I submitted a note through the site and got a response almost immediately. The second putter showed up within a couple of weeks, built exactly to spec. That kind of responsiveness and attention to detail isn’t something you see often, it really stuck with me.
What would you tell someone thinking about it?
I’ve spent a long time switching putters, hoping to find something that just works. With this one, I finally feel like I’ve landed. The process, the build, the support, it’s all there. I’m not looking anymore. I’ve got what I need.
