What were you struggling to find in a putter?
I’ve tested just about everything, off the rack, boutique brands, fully custom builds but it always felt like I was trading one thing for another. Maybe the shape looked great, but the weighting felt off. Or the neck was right, but the head just didn’t sit properly at address. No matter how high-end the build, it always felt like I was compromising on something.
What stood out about the Fine-Tuned experience?
The first thing was the level of precision. The kit wasn’t just extensive, it was intentional. Every piece existed for a reason and every combination we tried had a clear effect on how the putter set up and performed. We weren’t fiddling for feel. We were isolating what actually worked. By the end of the session, everything had locked into place. I didn’t have to rationalize anything. It just felt right.
How did it feel walking away with your specs dialled?
Honestly? Relief. For the first time, I wasn’t walking away thinking “that’ll do” or “maybe I’ll adjust to it.” I left thinking, this is it. It was the first time a putter had been built entirely around the way I see the line, how I set up, how I move. That’s a hard thing to explain until you feel it but when you do, you know.
What would you say to someone who’s tried everything?
If you’ve gone through the cycle of buying and tweaking, trying to make gear fit your stroke, this is worth your time. It’s not about chasing perfection. It’s about finally feeling like nothing’s in the way anymore, no compromises, no guessing. Just a putter that fits.
