What made you take a closer look?

As a coach, I’ve seen just about every putter on the market come through my students’ bags. I’m always interested in new gear, but I’m also sceptical, most of it is just a reshuffle of the same ideas. What caught my attention with Fine-Tuned was how quickly my players were responding to it. These weren’t tour pros, just everyday golfers but something clearly clicked.

What did you notice during the fitting process?

What stood out was how immediate the changes were. Alignment improved. Roll improved and the most important part? Confidence. Players weren’t steering putts or second-guessing setup anymore. They were just rolling it. Watching that happen across different skill levels made me take notice. I’ve seen plenty of gear promise that kind of shift, very little actually delivers it.

What happened when you tried it yourself?

I got one in my hands shortly after and I’ll be honest, it didn’t take long to understand why the players liked it. Everything felt balanced. The setup just made sense. It wasn’t dramatic or flashy, it just worked. There’s a calmness that comes with using something that fits properly and I felt that straight away.

How has it changed what you recommend?

Since then, I’ve sent a few of my students to get fitted and they’ve all stuck with it. No one’s come back asking for a tweak or looking for something new. That’s rare in this space. I’m not in the habit of recommending gear lightly, but with this, I don’t hesitate.
