Shot 63 on Day One: How Luke Found His Roll

Updated: Jul 8, 2025

What stood out during your Fine-Tuned fitting?

The fitting itself was top-tier. I’d never really thought much about head weight or face firmness before, but once we started dialing those in, it became obvious how much they matter. Being able to swap in a firmer face helped me immediately, I’ve always struggled with leaving putts short, but this gave me the feedback and pace I needed.

What made the biggest difference in performance?

Loft was a game-changer. My old putter launched too high off the face and caused the ball to skid, which messed with distance control. The Fine-Tuned setup gave me a truer roll right off the face. The biggest thing I’ve noticed is how it handles mishits. I tend to miss slightly out on the toe and most putters just die on me. With this build, the toe strikes still carry the same speed, same roll.

How did it feel when you put it in play?

First round out, I shot 63. I think that says it all. The confidence I had standing over the ball was completely different. I wasn’t trying to force anything or compensate for feel. The putter just worked and it looks unbelievable too, which doesn’t hurt.

What would you tell someone considering a Fine-Tuned fitting?

If you’re serious about improving, this isn’t optional. The level of adjustability and precision is way beyond anything else out there. For me, it wasn’t just about getting a putter that looked good, it was about solving real issues in my stroke and it did exactly that.
